With work having previously commenced and not completed to convert the former Library into a dwelling, it had unfortunately been stripped of much of its history prior to the client purchasing the building. Having been purchased by the Village Council, a planning application was put together to renovate the building for use as a community hall, restoring some of the architectural features as part of the process.
