A community project in our hometown, this refurbishment and extension to the existing Memorial Hall saw us working closely with the parish council members to develop and adapt existing facilities to be able to provide a hub for the community.
Design details
The extensions are contrasting in form and proposed materials to the existing, allowing for a clear distinction to be made between past and present. Inside, the building is a refreshed, flexible, multi- use space, and although small, allows for a variety of community activities or meetings to comfortably take place.
