This multi-phased project includes a masterplan for the remodelling of the ground floor to reduce wasted circulation space and modernise the facility to safeguard the future of the extraordinary work being carried out within the building.

One completed phase includes the design of a multi-faith room and family inpatient communal lounge, these highly bespoke, dementia friendly spaces have been carefully designed, and specific furnishings, fixtures, fixings and finishes have been used, which work in harmony with the structure to evoke a feeling of sanctuary.
