Project brief

This development saw the former Ysgol Maelgwn building as well as the remainder of the site being developed into a social housing scheme.
Ysgol Maelgwm - red brick buildings with mock tudor roofs

Design details

With the school itself being converted into 10 specialist units and a mixture of standard house types as well as bespoke designed specialist new- build bungalows on site, the twenty- seven dwellings provided have taken their place well within the confines of the site. The modern new-builds versus the restoration of the school building provides an interesting juxtaposition which demonstrates the site’s progression over time.
